(:
hello world.
I'm finally done with the two important papers, English and Chinese, what a relief.
I'm generally satisfied with the 4 essays I wrote, the standard was so much better than the ones before. it was a long paper, which got me hanging on the line.
the minute I came home, swoosh to the bathroom and then to bed.
I slept from 8pm yesterday right up to 10am this morning! What a sleeper I am right?
hahaha, chem-ed the whole afternoon.
the highlight of the day would be the exam prayer session.
it was really close to my heart, it got me tearing up, stirring up all those negative emotions.
mum, aunt and uncle accompanied me but we were sitting away from each other ;D haha they wanted their own " space ". So I joined the llamas, not complete actually, nut and drey weren't there. It's been a while since we've seen each other, a lot of unspoken feelings and damage control. Through simple actions like holding each other's hand, one can assure the other that sense of comfort and companionship, knowing you'll never be alone, always having God and people who love you. It is a beautiful thing.
I dont know, for me I think when these heartfelt things happen, there's not a need to express it with beautiful, grotesque words ,for the only person who would ever need to know, is the Lord.

Good evening.
:D

Estelle is really hilarious I promise.
You might wanna know what she did, smth marvellous!

This girl wanted to "surprise" me for sending me a letter through mail,
but she didn't wanna ask me for my address. (If not there'll be no "surprise")
So she smartly went to yellowpages and search for my address, and she
arrived to this page telling her that my address is

Fax Blk 1004 Toa Payoh Ind Pk #04-1495 Singapore 319076

(everyone, laugh now)

And she said that was the only address that belonged to a Sim family.
How saddddd ):

But I just find it so funny and she told me to blog this.
So tada! Here it is.

Let me tell you smth abt Estelle,
She laugh REALLLLLLLY loudly in class all the time.
:D

The way she laugh is like
(HAHAHA, *pause* HAHAHAHA *pause* AHHHAHAHAHAHA)

:D
:D

Love the Awesome Ninesome.
:D

Love you a little bit,
Janet.

kodak moments, our friendship's monument (:

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY JANET.

We celebrated Janet's birthday today at Pizza Huttta, the nine-somes (: haha brand new clique formed again. The subject combinations are out, haha scaryy. There's like 2 combi's of Triple Science this year, which would mean that there would be more ASEAN Scholars. Initially I was all out for Pure Bio & Chem, but now I think I enjoy Physics better, so I'm gonna go for Physics & Chem! ;D This topic is always exciting when it's being discussed amongst friends because you can see everyone being so tensed and concerned, sharing what they heard from seniors and teachers.
(:
as I was flicking through the Catholic News, I saw the audition advert for Paul the Musical, it's by the Church of St Mary's of the Angels, so I decided to express my interest by sending an email,
so now I'm gonna go for the audition for fun! It's on the 10 October, just right after the last paper. Woohoo so fun, it's a long production which would open in July 2009, at the NUS University Cultural Centre ;D that place is super huge, it was the previous venue for Dance Night.

alright gotta study for my chinese test tomorrow!

Earlier this day, as I was rushing to go to church with my hands holding onto a 1kg cake, I was basically struggling to flag a cab and to answer Alex's call, but thankfully a really nice taxi driver stopped by to ask if I wanted to hop in (:
Later this day again, I was not rushing but just breezely waiting for a cab to go to church to attend 6pm mass this time, I met this friendly taxi driver who shared with me a few things about the pride of his life, his kids. He was a malay man, his skin tone was slightly charred, and was pretty hip, seeing that he was tuning into 98.7, singing to " Me Love"?
Yes so anyway, the first thing he said when I hopped on was " Going to meet your boyfriend ah?" HAHA, wait till he finds out the real reason. " No, Uncle I'm not meeting my boyfriend (smiles)"
" Then why you go to Serangoon Gardens for what? Down there is all the makan makan so I thought you going there to pat tor (sp?)"
" Hahaha, I'm going to Church, Uncle for mass "
Instantly his face changed! HAHA, he turned behind and looked at me and said
" Aiyoh sorry sorry sorry, sorry Miss sorry Miss, I didn't know, you know old people like me ah like to think that you all like to go out dating luh "
" It's alright Uncle (: Youngsters do go out to date, so you're not wrong "
" So Miss, you're working now or studying? "
I'm like huh? Do I look that old?
" Err, studying (: CHIJ TP "
" HUH!!! Miss, your voice is very mature luh, sorry ah Uncle very paiseh keep saying the wrong thing "
" HAHA, it's okay"
And then the convo ended because we reached the destination already (:
Teehee, today's encounters with the taxi drivers was so uncalled for.

Mass today was by Fr Ambrose Vaz, a guest priest ;) another Fr Bosco.
The readings from the gospel and all were like signs from God to me, that's what I thought because they answered my questions and doubts.
That's the thing about going home to God, when you seek solace you'll find it.

Cathechism, the topic for today's lesson was about Death.
As usual you'll have people sharing about how they lose someone and the immense pain they go through to deal with it. Just like how I told someone, with birthdays, there would be deaths.. Max's birthday today, Bennett's Grandfather's death.
Before B's Grandfather died, he was a staunch Buddhist, until that very last part of his life, he decided to give himself up to God, and join the Catholic faith, those were the most peaceful time for him, Fr Kevin Koh would come into the ward and speak to him in Teochew share the word of god and prayers. Today at 11, Aunty Belinda called her kids to rush to TTS Hospital while they were on their way to church, their dearly beloved grandfather's heart had just stopped beating.
I was just trying to place myself in that position, what if suddenly one of my grandmothers died? One's thousands of miles away from me, while the other's so close but I don't visit her often. I'll miss them, cry... haha you know the usual emotions someone would feel.
But we've to ask ourselves, why do we cry at wakes? The reasons may differ for the person whom you're attending the wake may or may not be close to you.
If I were at my friends, I'd probably cry cause I'd miss them so much, and I'll be happy that they're going home.
But if it were my loved ones, my family members, then... the tears would be because I'm selfish and I dont want them to leave me, and the fact that they wldn't be there anymore when you need them.
The most painful part of the funeral, would probably be when they roll your loved ones into the furnace, I think that's the part where everyone would cry like crazy haha.
We were told to do this activity also, where we had to write what we wanted to be remembered of, and what we wanted on our tombstone (:
This is what I wrote :

Estelle Marianne Goh Hui Qian
16 May 1994 - ( the day I die )

the girl who was like a flower, so colourful and loved the shower...
she lived her life with smiles on her face, as she journeyed life's gentle maze.
her love was like a pretty dove in the sky...

in loving memory (:

Tell me it's good okay (: and beside my tombstone would be Alex lying next to me with her
not-as-cool fetish for M & M's
;D

lastly,
Happy Birthday Max!

@ 12:57 AM

We rode into town the other day
Just me and my Daddy
He said I'd finally reached that age
And I could ride next to him on a horse
That of course was not quite as wide

We heard a crowd of people shouting
And so we stopped to find out why
And there was that man
That my dad said he loved
But today there was fear in his eyes

So I said "Daddy, why are they screaming?
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why is He dressed in that bright purple robe?
I'll bet that crown hurts Him more than He shows
Daddy, please can't you do something?
He looks as though He's gonna cry
you said he was stronger than all of those guys
addy, please tell me why
Why does everyone want him to die?"

Later that day the sky grew cloudy
And Daddy said I should go inside
Somehow he knew things would get stormy
Boy was he right
But I could not keep from wondering
If there was something he had to hide

So after he left I had to find out
I was not afraid of getting lost
So I followed the crowds
To a hill where I knew men had been killed
And I heard a voice come from the cross

And it said, "Father, why are they screaming?
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why are they casting their lots for My robe?
This crown of thorns hurts Me more than it shows
Father, please can't You do something?
I know that You must hear My cry
I thought I could handle the cross of this size
Father, remind Me why
Why does everyone want Me to die?
When will I understand why?"

"My precious Son, I hear them screaming
I'm watching the face of the enemy beaming
But soon I will clothe You in robes of My own
Jesus, this hurts Me much more than You know
But this dark hour I must do nothing
Though I've heard Your unbearable cry
The power in Your blood destroys all of the lies
Soon You'll see past their unmerciful eyes
Look there below, see the child
Trembling by her father's side
Now I can tell You why
She is why You must die"

Bennett's grandfather just passed away 6 hours ago..
Eternal rest give unto him, O Lord;
and may the perpetual light shine upon him.

I was just watching the investiture's performance from what Mum filmed then and I am suffering
from a laughing fit. How in the world did I manage to pull off what I did manxxzz?
HAHA, the quick change from the thick and nicely pressed blazer and tie, to an ultra long cheong sam, and to add it off it was Mrs. Jayakumar's .
;D It's like when I "fainted" and fell to the floor with a loud thud sound, you could hear loudly in the background " OWWWWW " sounds from the audience, SUPER COOL.
teehee, and there was this picture of Saira as the guard, she looked really retarded, i'll post it later.
It's Max's birthday tomorrow, yet another birthday boy, Mon's Janet's! I'm going sooo broke haha with all these events coming along plus revision notes.
I think that Katherine Hiegl's face is really radiant, it's like when smiles her whole face just glows up like a lightbulb! I mean seriously ;D Her teeth and smile is pretty to me

don't you think so? oh well!
