this week has been an eggciting for me!

came back from Malaysia on Tuesday, and attended my very first lesson with Mr Zaki!
We learnt 8/8s in two solid hours, ran 3 rounds for "conditioning" HAHA PT is soo weird, and I ran in slippers, Ru ran in pumps ;D It was pretty stressing though because you've gotta learn the steps in 3mins.

Wednesday

It was a super slackish day, woke up reaally late and was suffering from some backaches and blue blacks, just went online and surfed the net doing quizzes and reading people's blogs. Until mid-day I felt like getting my arse out of the house, called Zena to ask if she was interested in having dinner together with Janet! We did in the end, at Newton Circus, hahaha still remember the Kindred days where we had supper there for 2 consecutive nights. After newton, we went to Island Creamery for mudpies and ice creaaammm. We had a banana split! :D Teehee it was sooooooooo good hahaha, and the mudpies were ultra sinful. Plus we were such goons trying to figure out how to load the paper into the photo printer (: Janet's parents came to fetch us home, well not exactly home, my family was at this place called Bali House at Meridian Hotel? Yeah the one at Orchard, so I was dropped off there and had a couple of drinks with them ;D
I finished Message in a Bottle at 3.45am with teary eyes because the book was so touching,
Why can't all the guys be like Garett Blake? That way women would have a fulfilling love life.
But guys like that are hard to find. ): oh well.

Thursday

SENTOSA!
teehee it was my idea to head there this afternoon because it's been a while since I last went there. Met Zena at the Serangoon MRT station of which we were so carried away by talking that we took the wrong side of the train! :/ causing us to be late AGAIN. Had lunchy with jang and ru at Food Republic (: Sentosa day passes have gone up by a dollar! HAHA, why? Global recession luh. Hahaha I hate the recession its making everything so expensive. Anyways, we played crazy frisbeee by the beach, took pictures and chilled at Delifrance for the sake of the aircon!
( And I thought I was bimbo enough, Janet's bimbo-er, aiyoh little bit of sun also cannot )
Teehee then we went to VivoCity, raided every shop hahaha we're such noisy people, toy'r'us was funnnn! After which the hungry us ate at Carls Junior, their portioning is really big.
The deck playground was nostalgic for us, because 1 year ago we were just fooling around like some retarded school kids, except this year it's without Bel and Heather ):
The timing was just right when we went to see the sunset (: The horizons looked so pretty!
okay maybe pretty's not the word, but rather breathtaking? Mmm hmm, it's sad to think that we're all gonna leave, the last sunset together )):




Friday

Yet another day of Rendevouz with Janet and Ru, we had lunch at Gardens' Pow Sing Chicken Rice! :D :D Haha high content of MSG = euphoria. After lunch, we popped by Zena's house to give her a surprise visit only to find that she was still in bed! Hahaha playground adventures again, and then it was to school for CCA! ;D SYF was rather enjoyable, although there were a few moments where I just blanked out. I'm beginning to admire Mr Zaki's professionalism, his choreography is so fluid and it has that ability to make you feel good once you know how to execute it (: I'm so privileged. Oh! I got floor burnt again! This time to top it off, there's blisters too! The size is as big as your eraser! :D Haha nut had 3! BUT ITS ALL WORTHWHILE :D
I'm still trying to find the SYF Dance Series for the Year 2003, does anyone have it?
Attended All Saints' Day mass in church with Mummy, and the readings were mostly from
The Beautitudes and how the Saints had strived to lead the life the Lord wanted us to live.
Upon listening to the reading, this extract brought to mind, my tagboard incident:

It's All Souls' Day today, gotta go to Malaysia again to visit Gong Gong's tombstone (:
I like going there actually, perhaps because I never got to see him before, so this yearly celebration is the only opportunity I'd ever get to see his face (: Retreat next weekend!
no handphones and ipods and all material things for 3 days . :D
I think I can survive!

phew, having 3 kids really takes up a lot of responsibility and energy, andI finally got a taste of that today. Spent almost the whole day with my 3 young cousins, Randall, Darrell and Bryan, all boys.
They are filled with so much energy and vibe which made me feel quite old :/ loud blasting music, jumping on the beds, tossing of pillows, shouting HAHA those were the good old days.
my 2 days in malaysia has been rather rejuvenating, seeing my dear grandmother (: (: (:
she misses me so much hahaha, i'm really lucky. Good food, lovely cousins ! Shopping too!
but singapore's life's too fast-paced :/
i'm so tired now, toodles woodles.

have been able to fix the problem situations, so thanks again! now I shall post this long awaited entry about the last day of school.

Last Day, Last Bell, Last Time...
(the words may be borrowed, but the sentiments all mine)

23 of October 2008, marked the end of an astounding journey with the class of whom I spent my lower secondary years with. It was without a doubt brimming with tears and silly laughters. Everyone was singly going on their own separate ways, different classes, different combinations. As cliche as it may be, it's all talks about leaving and how heavy-hearted we were before this very day, but I never expect myself to tear or cry, because I was just going with the stereotype. Next moment, after Miss Mazlind came into class to bid her last farewell, I was feeling so stirred up by all the heartache and started to tear. Peer pressure you may say, but a positive one, everyone started to cry too! Miss Mazlind was walking so quickly, because she was so afraid that she would just get emotional and cry like crazy before O' Levels invigilation. We wanted to give her hugs, but she just brushed us away, in that moment it was so hard to accept that we were actually pretty close to her, haha. Pictures after pictures, scrabbling on your table writing last minute letters and card, hugs and words of comfort were filled in the air. There are some people who would be joining the normal classes from 2/8, and these were the emotional ones, Yang Lin, haha pretty nice girl always willing to help me and making me feel like she respected me as a person not as a councillor, broke down while I was talking to her, haha tears on my pinafore as we hugged her. I tried putting myself in her shoes, I think I'd feel equally worse, it's like all your friends leave you to fend for yourself in a new environment. Scary you know, the Clique also made up with everyone, Rachel asked us to go for lunch, which made Janet and I a bit cynical about it. Man, Mrs. Jayakumar's last words were so ( hard to express ) , the whole class cried , I've never seen Rui Li, Qi Xiang all crying so badly before. Perhaps we were all always close deep inside our hearts, but never showing it on the surface. Soon, we'll be having new friends, new teachers, new everything, it's time again to try to fit in and settle in. I love my class, and if I'm given life's one last choice, I'd still see myself where I was, and where I am till the 23 October. Love you 2/8.

Whoa, is all I can say. These past 2 years were like the days where we had the most boisterous time of our lives! Dancing, singing, sleeping, doing absurd things, for a few moments it felt like you were the sister I never had. I guess, it was through the misunderstanding that lead to where we are today, things may just move in a circle and maybe one day I'd still be right beside you, making you laugh, rolling on the blue things in the dance studio, eating fried granola bars....

HELLO EVERYONE

this bible verse was strongly emphasised on during the exam mass in school for the O levels' girls as well as those taking the EOY's exams. It was just shortly a month ago...
but things sure happened quickly in a brink of time. Tomorrow would mark the last day of the school term for the Year 2008, and I'm filled with lots of mixed emotions.
Happiness, sadness, disappointments and Excitement.
Happiness, because I managed to hit the range of Top 150, haha shall not disclose the ranking here, well it was just right for me, improved by 10 over positions, hopefully I'll get the combi that I want.
And also because during this period in time, new things emerged, friendships got closer to the heart than ever... The Sixsomes. New clique if you want to call it that way. But 6 different kinds of people coming together, spending some warm fuzzy time doing what youths like to do, movies, eating, singing and more. It's sad that we're all definitely gonna split up, that's the sad part.
Haha but we'll always keep in touch and stay as sixsomely as ever right? (:
Disappointment, because my goal by 2008 was to have everyone in class to really bond and get to know each other deeper than on the surface, but I guess it just didn't work.
My class is a class filled with cliques, cliques that do not wish to break out of their social circle, and they just always are together, never really interacting much with others. Despite you know inter-class activities and PEA. :/ Well perhaps this situation is not much in my control, but hey at least I had a vision for everyone (:
Lastly, excitement, for the new school year beginning next year! Sec 3, so many upbeating things that are gonna happen, SYF, Danceworks, Cross Country, adventure camp and taking over office; (: it just puts a smile on my face, how God has really really blessed me with so much that I hadnt asked for (:
i'll probably be nostalgic tmr and the waterworks would spark as we leave all there is to 2008, i'm already feeling a pinch of sadness hahahaha , i love my class. IRONIC YES. but my class has given me the platform to where I am today. For believing in what I could offer them with all my heart and mind, giving me the respect, love and attention. It's been such a long journey....
Since Day 1, 2007... so long...so long.. oh how much stelle has grown.
i'll leave all the mushy fuzzy wuzzy's to tomorrow, it'll be more meaningful then.
as for now, it's just farewell cards (:

Today was just another tiring day, somehow last night's sleep didn't feel like sleep at all, it was like evening never got near to morning, dark and quiet. I was practically yearning for more sleep when Alex text me a morning call! Haha yup, we served today, mass was celebrated with the Bishop from Philippines ;D After 7am mass, lex and I met maryanne and ta pow breakfast to her houseee, it's like becoming a regular hangout place after church already. We watched Grey's Anatomy! Haha I was trying to convince them that that show was all about sex sex and more sex, and the show proved me right! It was a little gruesome though because they had scenes where blood would suddenly spurt out or you'd see the heart beating :/
That's the reason why I'll never make it as a cardiologist.
I'm afraid of fountains of blood and the heart.
cath was a continuation of last week, the resurrection, we did a whole load of fun stuff haha ;)
then after cath the guys asked us if we wanted to watch eagle eye with them, it sounds interesting though, the storyline I mean, but we didnt go :D
returned those DVDs to ezyvideo or is it videoezy haha whatever!
om shanti om is the bomb man, it's such a twisted show, with lots of songs and dance, the storyline was good ;D Farah Khan's film's are always nice.
I admit that I like to watch certain Hindi movies (: reason being they have better actors/actresses and the story never gets boring, it's always fresh and new.
Deepika Padukone is super pretty in the show, haha no wonder she's like Maybelline's spokesmodel.
School's starting again tomorrow, last week of the year man.
AND we're having some silat class! The malay martial arts thing, not exactly looking forward to it but I shall attend it with an open mind, so wish me luck :/

TGIF- Thank God It's Friday! (:
the school week has finally come to an end together with the release of our results.
I'm just alright with the marks, as how we would say, hanging in the air kinda thing.
Currently my body's aching all over and there's dance tmr, haha. Initially I was all up for
DEP Audition's but suddenly during the day, it jst strucked me, " why am I taking DEP? "
because with what I have, I'm definitely not gonna risk getting a bad L1R5 in O' Levels so it was a
no no (: I took 153 today! A change, usually it's 105, but I decided to hahaha.
next week's gonna kick start the whole leadership camp thing, with Definite Leaders training, yay! Nut's going, Jang's going, everyone is! :D :D
but Zaki's coming on tues! AH, squirms at the thought of it.

you know I think I have the tendency to be pretty slow, haha and I just realised that! See!
What drew me to this conclusion, well perhaps that I just found Petrina's blog with all the invest pictures, and this huge thank you to Estelle! Plus I just found the Super Poke! column on Facebook,after what people have done with me since who knows when? Haha, anyways the boredom thing is sorta setting in today, so I've decided to make use of my time to do something fruitful! I just signed up for the word a day thing to your email, and I'm planning to type out the recruitment proposal for GB, and prepare myself for Forum tomorrow! Can't wait for school to start again, I know.. it's only been 5 days, but hey it's a long break oh-kay.
Hahaha, everyone's getting bored that mel's telling me why guys SHOULD have cramps.

Yesterday I resumed my household duties, that is my compromise with mum, she does all the other housework while I do my part. (: which is folding clothes, washing the dishes and of course,
cleaning my room! As much as I dont enjoy them, I still do them, that's what you get when you have a small family. I should seriously consider having more kids next time, solves the manpower problem haha.

don't know if I should go to Nut's later? cause Dad's off today and he seems to be in the bad mood, hahaha and I DONT WANT TO STAY AT HOME!! HAHAHA.

anyways, I forgot to blog about this yesterday, but it was basically the best thing I did so far after the exams. I bought 2 books from MPH :D:D ALL SMILES.
both by Nicholas Sparks, I love his books on top of the other authors that I love too.
Well if you watched A Walk To Remember, it's by him, and also the upcoming movie with is releasing the day after tmr, Nights to Rodanthe :D I'm definitely gonna catch it!
Anyone wants to date me? Hahaha, I soaked up in the book, The Choice, yesterday evening right up to 1 where I finished the whole thing (: haha
i'm eyeing 2 books now, the sidney sheldon one, rage of angels and nora robert's finding the dream. Never bring me to the bookstore should you ever come with me, because I'll never want to leave that place, and end up buying SOMETHING. When I was in India, and went to the bookstore there HAHA, bought loads of books, plus it was dirt cheap there. 5 bucks for Mitch Albom's books, and it's exactly the same. Sucha rip off! I should consider living there next time.
HAHA okay maybe not.

Hawlo homies, spot the difference! Haha my neat days and my un-neat days. The difference is, well the fringe. Anyways I'm guessing that everyone's rejoicing now because the exams are totally over,as for those whose's sitting for the O's, you can do it tooo!

as for me it's just been days of mere slackiness, and movie madness. celebrated the end of exams with the Six-somes, of which Grace, Jacqueline and I WALKED TO BISHAN FROM TOA PAYOH (: On foot! Okay okay salute us now, haha. It was tiring but it as hell fun! 3 IJ girls crossing the highways hahaha. And then we caught The House Bunny movie, it was highly bimbotic but just right for me. Haha, the following days were jus gym and llamas date at Maryanne's house, talked like never before. You know those kind of movies yo'd watch, where girls would have those girly talks talks, yeah like that! But our's was better. Cath was greatty.

The rest of the days were jst gym, and crazy movie marathons, rented a few DVDs to catch at home.

went to lyn's house earlier, initially our plan was to watch the HD version of Heros, but she didnt know how to work it with her new player so we caught Mamma Mia! instead (: now I understand why alex loves it. The tunes are really really good, amazing how they can produce a movie with all the ABBA hits. Love them to the max, used to listen to the ABBA hits when I was young (:

I'm proud to say that I did my best for maths! (:
yesterday evening I was soooo scared for the paper today because I didn't feel that I was prepared,
well not that much ;D haha, brought all my problems to church during evening mass, and left it all there with God (:
as I was doing my paper today, I could feel that God was with me throughout the whole paper,
amazing isn't it? Those questions which I was stuck, all came to me towards the last 10mins of the paper, ahhhh, major relief really.
I've done my best! That's all I can say. If I fail I shall not be discouraged!
Geography and SOVA tomorrow, SOVA notes are hell thick, and it's too colourful, that my printer cant take it. teehee I guess the school just wants us to be more cultured in the arty farty way ;D
that's why guys don't learn it! too bad guys, you can continue with more maths and more science.

hello peeps, today was yet another study day for me. the education system is really getting tougher each day, perhaps they should abolish it, okay nah I take that back, if we had no education system, everyone would just be illiterate, which makes us no different from cave men and women.
I did a Natasha Rodrigues today. ( haha let me borrow your name alright )
I was doing maths problems until that extend where you just feel like crying, laugh all you want.
it may seem funny, how you may imagine someone doing maths and cry at the same time.
I'm such a stress ball really. I suck.
Set language and notation really made me upset to the max.
so I decided to change and revise Science... tuition was after.
I'm thinking that the maths paper's gonna be really hard, hearing from what Ms.Mazlind's said.
So I'm going to leave all my problems and sorrows to God, and perhaps I'll find him in prayer.
Thank god for sundays you know, adoration room i'm coming for you.
life has it's ups and downs....
